dress code

All locations have a similar dress code. All of these rules are decided by the partner venue and are strictly enforced both by the venues and by FCC leads. This is a critical issue to ensure that we can continue to provide opportunities. Please consider these rules carefully.

Headwear

Headwear

All booths that serve food require a hairnet and visor or hat. FCC provides each volunteer with a logo hat that can be worn at every location except Cannonballers. They provide red hats that we are charged for. If you prefer you can purchase a hat in the team store to wear there instead. You can reimburse yourself with grant funds for that cost. In bars, clubs and runners should have hair pulled back.

Jewlery

The only jewelry allowed is a plain, flat surface wedding band or a necklace that stays under your shirt. No earrings, facial piercings, watches, bracelets or other jewelry not specifically listed is prohibited. This is for food safety and is applicable to all locations and all booths. This is another health department rule and is a big focus at all locations.

Nails

All fingernails should be no longer than the tip of your finger, neat, clean and polish free. Again, this is another important rule put in place by the health department.

Bottoms

FCC Polos are worn at Bank of America Stadium and UNC Charlotte. All other locations provide a polo for game day use that is retuned at the end of the shift. Cannonballers will allow you to wear a team shirt purchased at their team store. In cold weather the FCC logo or provided polo must be your outermost layer. FCC does have cold weather gear available for purchase.
